EDS is going to continue its successful Postgraduate Teaching Program in 2016. Please mark your calendars for the 10th EDS Postgraduate Course from May 5 to 7, 2016, at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Wroclaw Medical University, Borowska St. 211 in Wroclaw, Poland. 

A renowned local and international faculty is going to present a large variety of surgical state-of-the-art lectures. Additionally, a robotic surgery and open rectal surgery workshop and an evidence-based medicine (EBM) workshop will be offered as part of the Postgraduate Teaching Course. Surgical Skills Course
Kaunas (Lithuania), September 15-16th, 2016

European Digestive Surgery (EDS) is happy to announce its first surgical skills course „Surgical Skills Course 2016“ in Kaunas, Lithuania on September 15-16th, 2016.  

The goal of the EDS Surgical Skills Course (SSC) is to provide surgical residents and young practicing surgeons an opportunity to learn/improve the fundamental skills of conventional and laparoscopic surgery in a consistent, scientifically accepted format, together with workshops on eFAST (Extended Focused Assessment with Sonography for Trauma) and Evidence Based Medicine. All with the goal of improving the quality of patient care. The course will be held over two days with a series of demonstrations and extensive hands on sessions.
