After the large acceptance during the last years UEG Week, we are pleased to announce that EDS offers 15 travel grants (EUR 750.-- each) for this year’s UEG Week, which will be held in Barcelona (Spain) from October 30 - November 1, 2017.
On the 25th anniversary of UEGW, a surgical learning area (Hands-on @ UEG Week) with live videos and an interactive hands-on program in small groups will be available. All winners of an EDS travel grant will have unlimited access and are strongly encouraged to participate in the UEG Surgical Hands-On area. Please note that travel grants can only be awarded to EDS members. You can easily become a member using the following link: www.edsurgery.org/membership/
Please send your application (Travel Grant Application Form EDS Vienna 2017) together with your CV and a short (one page) letter of motivation to secretary@edsurgery.org. Deadline for travel grant application is July 31, 2017. The awardees of EDS travel grants will be informed until August 30, so that registration for UEG Week is still possible with the reduced registration rate until September 14.
